Classroom economy is one of the best parts of being a 4th grader. The classroom economy is going to be an engaging way for the students to learn the values of hard work, responsibility, and organization.

- Each student has a classroom job and gets paid at the end of the month for that job
- Each student also has to pay rent on their dest at the end of the month
- Paychecks are from $400-$700
- Rent is $1000
- In order to make enough money for rent, students need to earn bonus money
- Students can also be fined, and will need to pay their tickets
- If students have money left over after paying rent, they can save it to buy their desks (and never pay rent again) or they can bid on items at the classroom, monthly auction
